The PHN is a not-for-profit organisation funded by the Australian Government to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the primary health care system.
Our role is to analyse and integrate information and data to support health planning and health service delivery in our region spanning the Hunter, New England, and Central Coast. Our community consultation, to be conducted throughout May and June 2024 via this survey and associated webinars, is to validate said information and data.
This survey aims to gather information about current health priorities, any barriers you face in accessing healthcare services, and what matters most to you concerning health in your local area. Your responses will remain confidential.
What will we do with this information?
The PHN reports the findings of this survey to the Department of Health and Aged Care in a formal report, titled Needs Assessment. The report is due for submission in November 2024.
