Who are we?

Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECC PHN) is a not-for-profit organisation.

We aim to understand local health needs and provide locally relevant community-based community services to address those needs with the intention of creating healthier people and communities.

What are we aiming to do with this project?

In order to understand the unique health needs of the Tenterfield and Glen Innes communities, we want to:

    ·  Identify and address local health needs and service gaps
    ·  Support existing services and networks
    ·  Actively work with you and your community in achieving positive health outcomes.

    How are we doing this?

To achieve these aims, the PHN has engaged Robyn Considine (Consan Consulting) and Edwina Sharrock to undertake a series of interviews, focus groups and community workshops over the next few weeks. They will be talking to a number of people including health professionals, community groups, non-government organisations, service providers and the general community.

As well as face-to-face consultation, you can also participate here and provide your feedback so we can reach as many people as possible.

What will we do once we have all the information?

The information gathered will be collated, together with the HNECC PHN needs assessment and presented to the community to brainstorm possible solutions on key areas identified through the consultation process.

The outcomes of these workshops will be presented to the PHN for consideration of potential projects in your area.
