UNSOLICITED FUNDING TEST HUB

Hunter New England Central Coast Primary Health Network (HNECC PHN) will accept requests for unsolicited proposals or requests for start-up funding through a consistent and structured format at fixed times of the year.

Unsolicited proposals will be accepted within two windows of opportunity per year - April to May and October to November.

Proposals would be submitted via a consistent submission template and be assessed via five point checklist.

  • Funding availability - Does HNECC PHN have the available funds to support the proposal?
  • Key priority area/s - Does the proposal address one r more of the key priority areas for the PHN? Is it consistent with the PHN's strategic aims?
  • Uniqueness - Does the proposal clearly demonstrate a unique benefit to the activities of HNECC PHN and the primary health sector?
  • Value for money - Does the amount requested show value for money in terms of the outcomes of the proposal and potential future benefit and return on investment for HNECC PHN?
  • Capability, capacity and risk - Is the proponent reputable and able to deliver what is outlined in the proposal?

If at least one of the assessment criteria are not met, consideration for funding the proposal would not proceed.
