The Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network (the PHN) is pleased to announce the 2026 Allied Health Conference - Stronger Together, taking place on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 May 2026 at Mingara Recreational Club on the Central Coast.
To support and encourage the participation of our rural Allied Health professionals, the PHN is now offering $500 in financial support to assist with the cost of accommodation, travel, and conference registration, including the attendance of the workshop on Saturday 16 May 2026.
Selection Criteria
Location: Private Allied Health practices must be located in MM3 to MM5 locations. To check your eligibility, please use the Health Workforce locator.
Only one application per organisation is permitted.
Attendance: Full attendance at the conference on Friday 15 May is required. Attendance at the Day 2 workshop on Saturday 16 May is preferred but optional.
No duplicating funding: Applicant must not have received other financial support, such as the RDN Health Workforce Scholarship, for this event.
Note: If you meet the above selection criteria and have already registered for the conference, you are still eligible to apply.
Key Dates
EOI opens: Monday, 15 September 2025.
EOI closes: 5:00 pm, Friday, 24 April 2026, unless places are filled earlier.
Confirmation of application status will be advised by 1 May 2026.
Re-imbursement of $500 including GST as a one-off payment will be processed once receipts for accommodation are submitted to alliedhealth@thephn.com.au and confirmation of your attendance has been received on the day.
